Nebojsa M. Djordjevic, Ph.D, received his BS degree in Physical Chemistry from University of Belgrade, Serbia, his Ph.D. degree in Analytical Chemistry was from University of California San Diego and he carried out his postdoctoral research at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. He started his industrial in Novartis Pharma AG (former Sandoz Pharma), Basle, Switzerland. At Novartis Pharma, he was engaged in different stages of pharmaceutical research and development.
From 2001-2006, he worked as a Director of Analytical Chemistry at Cytokinetics Inc. During his 20 years long career in Pharmaceutical and Biotech industry, he was actively involved in different studies including physicochemical characterization of active pharmaceutical ingredients and formulated products, formulation development, ADME studies, DMPK studies. He has authored and co-authored more than 50 research papers and reviews.

Dr. Snezana Drmanac earned her M.D. at the University of Belgrade in 1986 and completed her internship and Medical State Exam in 1987. She has been working at a forefront of Genomics, Pharmacogenomics and Personalized medicine since their early beginnings. She started her carrier at the Center Genetic Engineering in Belgrade and in 1989 moved to Imperial Cancer Research Fund in London. As part of Human Genome Project she joined Argonne national Laboratory where she led the project of genes screening form 1991 to 1994.   Dr. Snezana Drmanac co-founded Hyseq. Inc (Currently Nuvelo Inc.) in 1994 were she served as Vice President of R & D. She also co founded Callida Genomics 2001 and since than serves as Vice President of Technology & Application development. At Hysec and Callida, she led large internal and external collaborations and teams of over 50 scientists, discovered thousands of novel genes and directed sequencing, genotyping and gene splice variant detection projects. She has served as a PL on two NIH and DOE SBIR grants.

Dr. Ivan Aksentijevich obtained his M.D. degree from the University of Belgrade, Serbia. following his studies, he worked as a research scientist at the National Cancer Institues, Bethesda, Maryland. He completed an Internship and Residency in Medicine at St Agnes Hospital Baltimore. He is certified in Internal Medicine, Medical Award and an American Society of Clinical Oncology and American Society of Hematology.

Nenad Tomasevic, Ph.D., earned his B.S. and Ph.D. in chemistry form University of Belgrade, Serbia. Before joining biotech industry he completed four years of postdoctoral studies at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. From 2001 to 2007, he worked in the biochemistry department at Cytokinetics Inc., where he was involved in small molecule drug discovery projects and led several research programs in antiplatelet and inflammation therapeutic areas. Currently he is a group leader in protein biochemistry department at Nuvelo Inc.
